Check my math!!
So...
I made these quesadillas...and i found this fat-free sour cream...so i tried to figure the points, using cal/50+fat/12-fiber/5... now the label said, for 2 Tbsp: 30 Cal 0 fat 0 fiber so that means, for two tbsp, its 30/50...which means...its about a point for 2 Tbsp?? is my math wrong, or is sour cream my new favorite food? ;) :D |
Yep, you're right. Actually, the WW book says that 1/4 cup of ff sour cream is 1 point. The challenge is finding a ff brand that tastes good!
|
Yes you can actually (if you do total cal/fat/fiber for each and every food as a consistent) get 5 tablespoons of fatfree sour cream for 1 point....
|
i thought the equation was cals/50+fiber*0.02-fat*0.8?
|
The patent formula is:
POINTS = (calories/50) + (fat grams/12) - (fiber grams <capped at 4 grams usable no matter how much it has)/5) But the online calculator and the slide rule goes to 75 cal/0 fat/0 fiber for 1 point. |
