Activity & Flex Points

I need someone to explain to me how these points work. I understand the food points, but I'm unfamiliar with the new program. Thanks!

Flex points are basically 35 extra points a week you get to use if you choose to do so. Once the week is over so are the flex points but they return when your week starts.

First off Flex Points are not extra points. They are part of the program. You can choose to use some, all or none of them and they are only dipped into after you exceed your Target Points. You also have a choice of using the points you earn for exercise (Activity Points) but those must be used on the day they are earned and you use them prior to dipping into your FPs.

So say you are in the 22 Target Point and you use 38 points in a day and have earned 4 APs. You would have tracked 22 TPs, 4 APs and 12 FPs.

Thanks gals! Is there a place where I can find a listing of activity points? Or do you get a point for exercising a certain length of time?

Kelly_S 05-06-2004 08:42 AM

Because it is based on intensity*current weight*time done there really is no set amount for each activity but...

Light Activity (you can talk and sing):
Weight X Minutes X .000232 = Activity Points

Moderate Activity (you can talk but no sing):
Weight X Minutes X .000327 = Activity Points

High Activity (you need deep breaths to talk):
Weight X Minutes X .0008077 = Activity Points

All times are GMT -4. The time now is 01:22 PM.
