Melissa, so glad to hear DS's eyes are improving. Your comment about jeans day is what I was talking about.

Domina is it even more beautiful now that you have your house to yourselves? :) I'm glad its sunny where you are, it is definitely fall here. Rainy, blustery and grey. Jacques is very anxious for walks when the weather has clear breaks. He is a smart dog. :)

Melissa -- I am also glad to hear that DS feels that his vision is improving. I hope everything goes smoothly at the eye doctors.

I broke down today and wore hose, I am wearing slacks, but brr, bare legs would be bad today. I forgot that I have a pedicure after work, so I'll have to figure out what to do on my way back to the car. I have my flip flops, but they don't look so hot with my tailored black pants.

I am going to hit ann taylor or the nordstrom rack to look for appropriate hose for my various outfits.

TGIF!

My DS got a clean bill of health from the eye doctor! I am SO happy about that--it's been 7 months since he got hit with the baseball and we're finally free and clear. The pressure in his eye is back to normal but they want to keep monitoring him which makes sense. Who would think a baseball could cause so much damage??? In any case, after taking DS to the doctor I took the rest of the afternoon off (mental health time, lol) and stopped by Barnes & Noble for a bit and broused the books.

Domina: I figured that's what you were referring to, although some areas tend to be more "relaxed" than others. Fall has definitely arrived here--it's a chilly 40 this morning--sweater weather for sure! The bright side of the cool temps is that it's not raining and I'm planning on heading out at noon for a walk. The street I walk on has lots of trees and I love seeing the changing leaves--fall is my absolute favorite season!

Lala: Hope you were able to figure out what to do about shoes after your pedicure.

I have a busy weekend ahead of me--I'm working at WW this evening, have a workshop all day tomorrow and WW on Sunday morning. In between I'll have to get some house stuff done (which is neverending it seems!) and get things ready for our luncheon at work on Monday.

What a relief.

No big plans for us this weekend, I have homework, DP has homework, I have yet to start or finish two of my presentations for DC next week (must be done by tomorrow), garden cleanup and delivery to foodbank and general household gack.

I did enjoy my pedicure and ended up going to ann taylor. The skirt that I have been lusting for but not pleased at the price took a nose dive, the size 6 fit fine, but I got a size 4 and I'm going to see how it looks in three weeks. Its suede and I know it stretches. I could buy a 6 now and be cranky in a month or go with a smaller size (zips up, but looks well, tight) and just try to get into it.

Suffice it to say, I didn't buy anything else.

We had a fierce storm last night, lost power for an hour, looks like we're going to get upto 4" of rain this weekend, I'm happy the sewer guy came out on Wednesday to do his yearly maintenance. Well planned.

Melissa, oh, good news about DS's eye. I would think a baseball could do a lot of damage.

This weekend we're seeing a play tonight. I'm headed to an outdoor Arts and Crafts show on Saturday and then golf on Sunday.

Hi guys,

Its nearly 7 pm and i'm at work, why? well, don't ask, but I'm off to go home and do my homework. I was here until midnight last night trying to do something for dearest taller half that didn't work, needless to say, she'll be here until 3 am this am.

Other than that, having a hard time with food today. I'm probably close to done with my points and haven't had dinner.

I did have a most scrumptious caramel apple that I split into last night and this afternoon. I figured the points to be nearly 8 for the apple and the caramel. I am soo tempted to find another one.

Its 70 degrees here today. I can't believe it.

Off to make trees in java.
