WATP for Abs Poll?!!?!
I need some healthy feedback on the WATP for Abs videos. I have done the WATP 1-, 2- and 3-Mile plus the Power Walk-4-Mile! w/Leslie Sansone and Florine Mark. I like all of these but I need some different videos in my collection of WATP. I am bored with the ones I had.
Tell me, those of you who have WATP for Abs, your opinion and if anyone has both comparison! I just purchased the 3 video pack w/ab belt at Wal-Mart for $24.88 and before I open it I want some feedback. I had the choice of this one or the WATP Express 3 video pack with 'stretchy thing' for the same price. Help! |

Kel, I've owned every Leslie ever made (literally) and just gave away a whole bunch of very old ones (regret it)! She's been around since long, long before WATP! I love most of her tapes, but in all honesty the newer ones made under the auspices of Good Times Marketing are kind of overkill. This doesn't include the one with Mark. They are pretty much all alike, maybe a different set here and there and a different prop and sometimes the people change, but the WATP tapes are a lot alike. That said, the one for abs is nice and you get the nice belt. One of the later ones I like a lot is the one "for stress" ... it has a strange, dark, wintery kind of set. But you might look for some of her oldies if you want something different but still incorporating her style and the walking workout. Weight Loss Walk might still be available somewhere ... I like that one. There used to be a couple of Leslie websites for these different phases of her tape marketing ... you can try looking under "Walkaerobics" or on Collage Video's site or Amazon or eBay.
Could make for a fun change if you can get some old ones. :) |
OH my goodness I am glad I opened these tapes. The 2-Mile kicked my butt.

I love these videos!! I actually got up to doing the 3 mile 3 days a week, and the 2 mile the other days...until I fell off the wagon!!!
Getting back on, though, and started up the WATP videos again tomorrow!! |
I have the WATP for Abs, use them 3-4 times a week, and love them! Another great one you might want to try, and it's my new favorite, is Walk Strong. I've seen it at Walmart and Target. She does interval training with walking and firming. Leslie uses the stretchie from the Express series, but I just use dumbells. It's only 30 minutes, but it really gives you a great workout!
I do know what you mean about getting bored after a while - I got really tired of looking at those same people in the original WATP. I think I will try the Express series next, just for a change of pace. |
That is the exact bored I was referring to...same people..same words. LOL!
