Losing Too Fast?
I got that notification on WW today that I'm losing weight too fast! The last two weeks, I've lost 3.4 and 3.7 pounds respectively. However, overall I'm looking at an average of 1.8 pounds per week.
I know I've been eating all my points, meeting my health checks and exercising. Should I worry about a few big weeks, or just be happy to see the weight going? |
I wouldn't worry about it right now. I've had more than a few weeks of big losses that were then balanced out by weeks of small loss or no loss at all. For now, enjoy the ride! :)

I completely agree - this week I am struck - no weight loss at all - but looking back through my calendar weight loss has ranged from 4lbs (after TOM) to 1lb per week.
I don't think it needs to be linear. |
That's what I was thinking too! I've had some slow weeks, so maybe this is my body's way of making up for it haha.
|
I'd just enjoy it while you've got it! :)

Mister, I seem to recall from your other threads that you are doing some sort of ultra low calorie plan of questionable safety, despite getting great advice from others. Unless I am wrong, and you are actually doing WW, I don't think your comment is warranted or appreciated. Of course WW is in the business of making money; many many programs are. But it works for a lot of people and it's safe, so unless you actually have something constructive to say, please refrain from bashing this or any other valid weight loss program.

I see nothing wrong with a few weeks of big losses! Occasionally you will have nice whooshes and then slow back down, so enjoy it and be proud of yourself!
|
What I tend to do (last month aside) is to have a couple weeks of awesome numbers then 1-2 with little to nothing.
I think WW puts that message in their as a sort of "hey, are you really eating all your points?" sort of reminder to make sure you are being healthy in your choices. |
