Has anyone ever .....

  • Has anyone ever eaten all of your daily points and all of your flex points in one day and STILL lost weight that week???

    Thanks
    Michelle
  • Yes, I have but my weight in day was a few days after. Remember weight loss is a calorie deficit so as long as within the whole week you burned more then you consumed you can still lose weight.

I find when I eat all my dps and wps in one day, I lose better then when I spread my wps out.
  • Really ??? That's awesome I ate them all yesterday(Friday) nd weigh in is Monday I was kinda freaking out lol
  • If you are up on Monday, it could be from salty/sodium-laden food so don't freak out, it will come off. I'd be drinking a little bit more water to "flush" it out and hopefully you'll be down.

I have not eaten all of my WP in a longggggg time simply because I don't lose as much as I like and I don't work out currently. YMMV when it comes to WP.

for a lower WI come Monday!
  • This is funny.... Because I just did this... this past week... I went out on Wed night and overdid it at dinner... Which is not hard to do at a restaurant with a few glasses of wine...lol... Definitely went through ALL my pts. and the next day I was up 2lbs on the scale... But at my weigh in on Fri it turned out I was only up 0.4lbs for the week... So as far as I'm concerned that's basically staying same, which all things considered I'm happy with it... I really thought I did some serious damage...lol...

But this coming week I'm really going to try to just stick to my daily's, spread out my weekly's, and only eat some AP's if I really need them... I've definitely decided that I don't want to make what I did last week a habit... Because something tells me I'll be showing more than 0.4lb gain if I do...
  • Yes it's definitely possible to still lose after eating all of your daily points and weekly points in one day. On my weekends off my husband and I go out to eat at least once. A few weeks ago we went out and I ended up eating the rest of my daily points and 40 weekly points all in one meal. When I weighed in four days later I actually lost 3 pounds!
  • I do it every week.

I weigh in Saturday morning and splurge the weekend. I don't go over my flex points, but I use them all. I spike on Monday and then gradually drop off. I actually weigh daily and you can see the trend. I consistently lose. *knock on wood now*

However, I'm EXTREMELY active 6-7 days a week - earning 45+ APs according to my active link (which would roughly be 4500 calories burned.)
  • SURE did! I got &%#$ canned when KU lost in the NCAA tournament and weighed in 2 days later!
Lost 2 pounds or I would have been eating and drinking THOSE feelings, too!
