Nervous for my first meeting.
 

I'm supposed to go to weight watchers tonight for my first meeting, I've never been in a group setting where everyone knows you're dieting? trying to lose weight? I guess I am just nervous to be judged, and thinking the worst opinion possible about the meeting to try and talk myself out of going.

How did your first meeting go? What did you expect and what happened?

Pretty nervous and I've put it off already for one week and I told myself I was going to go.. but now I'm trying to talk myself out of going again.

I was nervous like you. Then, I realized everyone is there for the same reason. I found the meeting to be very helpful. The members are inspirational and encouraging. I considered the meetings a "safe" environment. You'll be fine. Don't worry. Congratulations for making a positive change.

Aw, thank you so much! the meeting starts in 2hours so I'm nervous, but I appreciate your response and I hope that I feel the same after attending a few meetings.
