Has anyone heard of this diet? This woman works with my husband and tries every diet that comes along. She eats every 2 hours and very little. She was faint at work the other day and her blood pressure was out of whack. What kind of crazy diet is that?
Actually that is recommended for alot of people to eat 6 - 8 mini meals a day. It is nothing that is a fad diet or anything. It does help the metabolism you still need to watch the caloric intake and eat balanced.
I eat 6 times a day and it is not a fad diet. I follow WW using a food plan customized for me by my nutritionist because I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and Insulin Resistence. Your body does much better maintaining your metabolism when you eat several small meals throughout the day. Perhaps the women is not eating the proper amounts or foods.
I follow WW religiously, but I eat several small meals (5 - 7) every day. It just seems to work better for me than three bigger meals. The problems the woman is having are not cause by eating every two hours . . . it may be *what* she is eating, or perhaps she is not eating enough, or something else entirely.
