Hope everyone had a good week! As of today I've lost 88.8 lbs!! Craaaaaaazy to think I could hit before the end of the month! :-D
I switched things up last week: I work out during the week but usually save my APs or weeklies for the weekend. It always sounds good in theory, except I know I should eat my APs but then I end up with like 30 APs to be eaten over two or three days which is just a mess. So this past week I made a point to eat more of my APs on days when I worked out. Because I work out on the weekends, I still had points to play with (I was able to get a soft pretzel when I went to watch a roller derby game!), but not *more* than enough where I felt like I had to eat more just to eat APs (does that make sense?) I think it was a smart decision and I'm going to incorporate it from now on! Like, today I ran for 2.25 miles this morning, so I have a slightly bigger lunch and dinner. |
You are/have done an awesome job Tudor I am proud of you. Myself --not so good I have actually gained 2.2lbs and feel awful my clothes feel tight, my stomach feels bloated. I have gone over my points everyday..I just cant seem to get focused these past few weeks. I start the day with good intentions then bam...evening comes and old habits die hard.
Any encouraging news or new strategies? Help |
nancylmrn we are the same :( These past days havent been tracking properly and I gained 2.0 lbs on my last WI. Now its getting worse because my mom is here for vacation and she cooks alot of food that I love so much and it has all high points. Like you said I too started my day good but as the day progress it gets bad :mad: Ohhhh what to do what to do :D well I guess my answer to myself is get back on track and resist getting another servings ;)
tudor i like your plan. So you switched AP with WP? So everytime you go over the DP it will be AP that is used first then WP? If so do you have to eat all the AP on the same day because to my understanding it doesnt carry over the next day? Well tomorrow I will be heading to east coast to visit my sister. And hopefully I can still stick and track my food (i do have the app). Because I bet we will be eating out all the time :lol: Will try to visit here once in awhile to share some updates. Well this evening has been good so far but my lunch and dinner points seem a bit high even though I ate very healthy imo LOL salmon at lunch and large salad with honey/mustard dressing for dinner.
I still feel bloated and uncomfortable but I know it is just one day at a time and in the big picture this gain is not the end of the world....now it willl be if I keep going on this upward trend hehe |
I have been really upset myself since this weekend when I had a gain at WI and the scale continued to go up since. The weekend before last, I was down to 170 and earlier this week, the scale read 179.6!!!! I couldn't believe it and was really mad.
I'm down this morning to about 176.4....but I'm still frustrated. I've been making much better decisions this week though, so that's a good thing. The other night, my mom and I were the only ones home for dinner. We were originally going to do burgers and salad. But then, everyone else was coming home late from work, so we ended up just eating salad and broccoli slaw for dinner. Last night, it was chicken and fruit salad. So I feel better about myself....but I still need that scale to keep moving down down DOWN! haha I also have a wicked bad cold. My throat hurts, I'm losing my voice, I can't breathe out of my nose, and I keep coughing. So annoying!!! But the good news.....today is the last day of classes with my students then we have a couple days of finals and a a day of getting grades done and everything wrapped up and then SUMMER VACATION!!! :) |

Well not sure what got into me yesterday but I went a bit nuts LOL decided it was time to paint the spare bedroom I use for a home office. So off to Home Depot I went and bought paint, joint compound, putty knife thingys, rollor, pan blah blah. So first I went to town with the joint compound taking care of plaster that has worn down on the corners, nail holes etc. then decided might as well do all the walls & corners in the house--yikes. Then I realized I needed some Kiltz for some staining left from one of my girls. So off to the store again. Came home and went to town in the new office, I went to clean that up and realized it was oiil based and I needed paint thinner to clean the brush and my hands--of course I did not have that! So off to the store AGAIN came home and cleaned everything up. What was I thinking? So I did not make it to the gym I have all this mess around me and only 1/4 the way done. Wish me luck by the end of the week end I will have a great looking place to work. Oh and point wise yesterday...I did awesome

I lost 0.5lb this week, which i am very happy about. I thought i had gained majorly since TOM is about to visit... ugh! 74lbs down so far, but BOY am i strugglin through these 170's! This is not getting any easier thats for sure lol. On the bright side, the girl who weighed me in today said she was going to order my certificate and charm for the 75lb loss event.... what is the certificate? you get something more than just the charm?! im excited :D i hope i dont start crying hahaha. I know the 100lb loss one will be emotional, cant wait to get there :D |

Well today we decided to do some long overdue yard work....three hours yikes I am so sore and have scratches up and down my arms. One weekeater has bit the dust so I will need to replace it before we continue. I have to spray a grass and weed killer out but I need two days without rain and above 60...so I have a few days whew |
speaking of sore... omg, i did roller derby practice yesterday morning which was KILLER! Their cardio warmup is nasty, i hate squats and lunges. Thats all i can say lol! My whole body is in protest... especially my quads...and other places i didnt know where there!
