Frusterated...

So this week is a maintain...I though I did better than that. I used all my flex on the weekend and was totally OP the rest of the week for a maintain.

I know this week has been a week of change for me since I started school and my work schedule changed. I am not eating fast food anymore, I am not ordering my mochas and lattes. I am planning out my meals, drinking my water, eatting my F&V and measuring everything.

Every time I do WW I barely loose 1 lb a week if that...usually it's 1/2 a pound and it's frustrating. I exercise when I can but between work, school, kids there isn't enough hours in the week and my alarm already goes off at 5:30 to get ready for work so a morning workout isn't in the cards either. I can usually get to the gym twice a week for about a 45 minute workout if that.

I am on the momentum program and considering trying the online PP but that many points scares me.

Any suggestions for me?

What type of meals are you having? Without knowing, this suggestion might help or not (lol) - but maybe you can try to bulk up on the fruits and veggies and stick to browns instead of whites. By that I mean brown rice instead of white rice, whole wheat bread instead of white bread......etc

I'm doing on line PP and I love it. I never feel like I'm eating too much and have been consistently losing. Do you have the option to give on line PP a try for a day or two? That way you can feel it out and see what works best.

Good luck!

Have you considered at-home workout videos? Maybe the 10 minute trainer videos. I have used them, and you really get a good workout because of the combined exercises you do. It might help you to get some extra exercise in on days you can't spare 45 minutes to get to the gym.

I cook meals from my WW cookbooks or meals I find on line. I point out everything and do use all whole grain (very little white). @ lunch every day I have a large salad (2 cups lettuce, 1/2 cup cucumbers, 1/2 cup tomatoes w/low fat or ff dressing). I usually work my days backwards so I know how many points I will need for dinner and then go from there.

I have workout videos, I have Wii fit but just can't seem to find the time or energy if I am home...always something else to be done, homework (me and kids) or dinner to be cooked :( If I don't actually leave the house it's not going to happen. It's too cold/rainy out right now to go for walks.

I can sympathize with not being able to find time. I'm a single mother and work full time (40+ hrs) and recently finished my graduate degree. That said, I find that getting up slightly earlier than normal (before my son wakes up - because waking him up is a workout in itself LOL) and doing a 20 minute cardio workout makes all the difference in the world (for me). That 20 minutes in the morning keeps me motivated through the day and I feel awesome.

I too juggle homework, sports, work, cooking etc. but in all honestly we have to find the time to take care of ourselves.

I hope you find something that works for you :D

Do you mean the daily points, because they've gone up? Don't forget that the food points have changed, too. When I switched from Momentum to PP, everything evened out. Like, let's say on Sunday was my last day on Momentum and I ate all of my dailies. The next day, when I started PP, I ate the exact same foods but because of all the points adjustment, it was still almost exact for my dailies on PP. (Does that make sense?)

It does take some mental adjustment, that you're allowed more points, but I actually love the new program. I actually eat fruit now, whereas before I didn't want to "waste" the points when I could have something else.

Plus, as frustrating as it is, 1/2 a lb loss is still a loss. We didn't get to our current weights overnight, we're not going to lose it overnight either.

Thanks...I just joined on line to give it a try for a month. It is going to take some time to adjust since everything for me is in the old points program.

Think about this...if you lose half a pound a week for an entire year, you will have 26 pounds, gone forever!!
