Congrats Lovely! Way to go on sticking with your plan

Turbo... oh god, pot pie. I make this awesome turkey pot pie with leftover turkey after thanksgiving. ITs so yummy. Like the ultimate comfort food. But definitely not diet friendly *laughs*

Nancy -sometimes we lose when we least expect it LOL

up 1.5 lbs this week, which i expected since i've been eating terribly. I blame it on Halloween and the delay in trick or treating (I"m in the northeast, our halloween was postponed from Monday to Thursday due to the snow storm, but no one told us that so we had the candy open and ready to go Monday...which means it sat in a bowl all week with lots of grazing going on......). I did lose 2lbs from yesterday to today which I know was water (damn pizza and pad thai over the weekned---i told you my eating was horrible this week) so hopefully i'll continue to lose the water and the damage won't be that bad by next WI. Time to chug some water!

Happy Wednesday, all!

I have the apartment to myself for the next few days. I'm stocked up with plenty of healthy foods. No excuse to order anything whatsoever.

I have to tell you I made this awesome baked potato soup the other night and when I pluged in the reciepe it came up to only 3pt per serving or 120 calories. It uses potatos and cauliflower two of my fav's

Give someone a smile today!

Sounds delicious, nancy! Thanksgiving in Canada was weeks ago for us though

Went out for diner last night. I had way too much wine... My official WI is tomorrow, the scale is scaring me... I'll try to work out more this weekend to mend for the challenge WI on monday!

Hey guys I feel as if I'm doing not so well this week....But when I really look at it....I've stuck to my points and only used....at MAX 10-15 weekly points, so I guess I am doing pretty well. Can anyone recommend a GOOD scale that I can get at a drug store....No more than maybe $30-$35? The one that I have is terrible (anywhere from 2-4 pounds off...sometimes high and sometimes low) and I want to keep an eye on my weight over the Thanksgiving holiday as well as the 2 weeks that I'll be out of school for Christmas (I do my weigh ins at school now).

I bought mine a few years ago at walmart it is an inexpensive digital and seems to be acurate. I compare my weight on that scale and my dr. office and they are within a pound of each other

I replaced my very flaky scale with an EatSmart scale after I think it was another 3fc ww'er recommended it. I bought mine on Amazon, I think they run between 28.95 and 36.95 depending on which one you get, I got the one that is 32.95. The very first time I used it, it was a little off, tried again and it was fine, and never had a problem since then. It's been super accurate and I don't have to tap it first, I can just step on it.

I'm not sure if they sell them in the stores though, or just have an amazon storefront. I like that they seem to be pretty responsive to the reviews on there, to resolve any issues people write about.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend =)

Tonight I pick my husband up from the airport. And... I didn't order junky take-out food! I had plenty of foods in my house, and I didn't order the stuff I didn't need. Very proud of myself for that baby step.

Hey everyone! I have been hiding...bad I know! But I haven't been doing well. I was working a retail job, where there was no fridge or microwave. So I was eating out everyday. I got a new job thursday (a normal weekday first shift so now my kids have me all weekend and all evening!) and they have a nice break room, so I can bring my HEALTHY lunches again. When you have little money, the only cheap enough fast food was junk! SO I am re-starting YET AGAIN tomorrow morning. I hope I can stick with it...kmfx!

Lovely - have fun with your husband! Good Job on the no take-out!
