Need to get back on track!
Hi Everyone!
For the past 2 weeks I haven't tracked BUT have maintained a weight of 159/160. With school, work, and 3 kiddos, it's been extremely difficult to try and track. I've been eating anything I want, just in moderation and trying to fit in workouts whenever possible. I really need to start tracking again because I find that I'm getting lazy and today after failing my exam all I wanted to do was binge. I didn't realize how grueling or just how exhausted I'd be while taking this Medic Class. I need to prioritize and figure out how to fit in tracking and working out with my hectic life right now. There was also a death in my family today.. Everything seems to happen all at once, when it rains, it pours. |
It's tough being on this journey and managing life.
You're so very close to your goal and if you're just busy right now and have to take care of other things, maybe it takes a little bit longer to get there. Better late than never? Tracking is a nuisance sometimes, but I like to pre-track breakfast and lunch. I eat the same protein shake for breakfast everyday and then I plan and make my take to work lunches on Sundays and record the points in my tracker. Then I only eat fruits and veggies for snacks so that I don't have to track. That just leaves dinner left to track. I also have a chart on my fridge of every food product in my kitchen and the point values so that I don't have to dig out the pocket guide or calculator. It speeds things up. |
When I am under stress and can't spend a lot of time figuring out point counts I tend to eat things that are easy to count and that I have listed online in my favorites. I also eat fewer different things so there is less to keep track of.
All of that said, losing the last 10 pounds can be difficult. It really wouldn't surprise me to see WW lower the daily points for particularly for lower weights when they tweak the plan for next year. |
