Vitamins?

I've been taking multi-vitamins for a while (even before starting the plan) and recently started taking calcium since I'm not eating cheese as much.

I'm wondering if anyone else started taking vitamin supplements when they started WW?

It's part of the GHG, so you really should be taking them. I've taken them all my life, so I didn't have to change anything.

I've taken them off and on (I'm really horrible about remembering, though there have been a couple of times I've done therapeutic doses via my naturopath/altnerative medicine friendly MD). I find it easier to remember since it's something I check on etools!

I take Flintstone's gummy vitamins :D

Occasionally I take vitamin D when I get super blue. I live in Oregon and that tends to happen a lot during Fall and Winter.

I'm taking prenatal vitamins, trying to get pregnant

I decided that I really wanted to make sure I was meeting all the GHG's almost all of the time - as often as I could. So I bought some grown-up gummy vitamins and take them first thing in the morning. But I only started taking them a few weeks ago. I just really like being able to tick that box off!

I just have one multi-vitamin - Women's One-A-Day. I take one every couple days. I know they're called one-a-days, but I don't beat myself up if I forget a vitamin since a lot of nutrients I get through foods.

Just dont take them together. Calcium seperate from the others. Calcium shouldnt be taken with any multivit with iron in it, calcium blocks iron absorption making that part of the vit useless (dont take with milk or cheese or anything like that). VitC will increase absorption of the Iron. Vits are confusing to take, some dont know about all that stuff and just take handfuls of them but not all go together :(

I also started taking multivits only when i started, but then i just finished the bottle and never bothered to buy any more. I probably should, just never got around to it. Dont like taking pills, id rather get all the nutrients and vitamins i need from nature. Eating a really balanced meal like most of us are, will give us all the balanced nutrients we should need... i would think!?

It's definitely a good move to think about supplementing, especially when making big dietary changes. It's smart to consider what your body might be missing out on. On that note, checking out BodyLogicMD reviews could give you some insight into personalized health plans, including vitamin and supplement needs tailored just for you. They have a reputation for focusing on holistic health, which might be exactly what you need to complement your WW journey.

Yes, many people start taking vitamin supplements when beginning a weight loss program like WW to ensure they meet their nutritional needs, especially if dietary habits change.
