    ugh. 196.0 today... i keep not tracking, and i dont know why. For some reason i got up last night and are 2 donut sticks at 1030pm. They're 6 points each. I wasnt hungry. I think im after taste. Perhaps i should buy some gum?
  • Chew gum and drink water. That always helps me in those moments.

    I hit 25 lbs this week! (Really 26.8, but I was at 24.8 last week)
  • (There was a lot of talk of tracking at the end of the last thread but cutting/pasting is annoying on this.) My leader has a saying about tracking she said she got off a website. Something like even if we decide not to track what we eat, what we do, our bodies are still tracking it. Whenever I am just not feeling like tracking I remember that. Not tracking doesn't change the choices I already made but just might change the ones I'll make after that.

    Yes! lol. Extra makes a new "dessert" gum in key lime pie, strawberry shortcake, and mint chocolate chip. Personally, I think the KLP is amazing, the SS is just okay, and the MCC is nasty.. but it's personal taste. I know my kids like SS a lot.

    Also, I munch on apples when my sweet tooth hits- I know it doesn't satisfy a craving for something donut-ish, but it gets my mind off it.
  • My likes for the Extra gum are the exact opposites of your's!!! I love Mint Chocolate Chip the best, then Strawberry Shortcake, and then Key Lime Pie! It is definitely personal taste!

    Something about the chocolate gum seemed so odd to me, but cool.. I've heard other people say they like the MCC best, too.

  • Although, I have to watch how much of the "free" fruit I eat (fruit raises my insulin levels and makes me hungry all day if I am not careful) I will have a peach/nectarine or an apple and a 1 pt weight watchers cheese stick if I am having a late night desire to eat and/or binge. I find that is keeping me from eating far worse stuff. That is basically what I use fruit for these days.

    If I have some extra activity points left (I am trying to use some of them for food to get out of my slower loss phase) I will have a serving of fiber one cereal or Kashi go lean cereal with 2/3 cup or so of soy milk. I find the fiber keeps me full for the rest of the night.

    I am glad I finally got over my lazy habits and looked lower on the main page and found the WW thread! It's great to find people following the same diet I am.
  • i got some gum but not extra. It was $2.87 got a 3 pack but CVS had orbit for $2. so i got bubblegum flavor.. which is always a safe bet flavor

  • Jinksie ~ Definitely any type of gum is a good buy!!! I think, with me at least, most of the time, I just need that chewing motion more than anything else!

    I went to the store (KMart) earlier this afternoon because I needed shampoo and more of my vitamins. I ended up getting another pair of jean capris because they were 50% off and they were a size 12!!!! So freaking exciting
  • Most excellent achievement, Chele615- I can't wait to buy some new pants/shorts, but I'm waiting to drop another 8 or so lbs first even tho my current ones are baggy as heck and look ridiculous.

  • Chele615, that's awesome! My pants are getting kind of ridiculously big. Should probably go to the thrift store soon. As least I can find cheap pants that way!
  • I think I shall have 6 pack abs by the time allergy season passes. Owie.
  • I had pizza today. I instantly regretted it because I couldn't just have one slice like a normal person, I had 3. It was a small pizza so they weren't large slices, but 2 should have been my absolute limit. I haven't had it in over a month and I was DYING for pizza. Maybe if I had allowed myself it once in awhile I wouldn't go nuts when I finally had it. I had a great loss last week and want to keep going! I want to get into the 160's! I hope today and this weekend's BBQ's don't derail all my hard work!
  • Hey everyone..My weekends seem to be busier than my weekdays and I have trouble finding time to drop in. I've still been lacking in exercise, even though I am feeling better now. I just have such a hard time waking up early. I've been staying in bed until 9:30-10 every morning, then have school work to do. To exercise I would have to wake up around 8. I'm staying at my boyfriend's house tonight and he has work in the morning for 8, so I'll be waking up with him in the morning and heading home to try to get some stuff done. So I will definitely be exercising tomorrow, probably on the treadmill or jump roping outside. I feel like I've been doing pretty good with my eating, but I have also been lacking with tracking and haven't been tracking until the next day. I guess it's still progress since I'm still counting though. We'll see on Friday for weigh in.
