I got some WW cookbooks from the library- most turned out good. I also try to fill up with a lot of veggies rather than fruit and because veggies also bulk up meals and add flavor too without adding too much points. Also, another tip- don't deprive yourself, do indulge once in a while or make a low(er) point alternative.
Also, do check out the WW Recipes here- lots of good stuff.
I lost 3.2 this week, for a total of 23 pounds in 10 weeks. I'm having NO trouble sticking with it because it's a totally easy plan to follow. I can have ANYTHING I want and I track EVERYTHING I eat - good, bad, or otherwise. Last night I had three beers while watching the Bruins game - that's 12 points, and I tracked it. Now I know how many weekly points I have to work with for the rest of the week. I also walked over five miles yesterday and earned 10 AP (according to my WW pedometer) so I am totally okay with working those beers into my day.
When someone says "How do I stick with it?" I just think "Why NOT stick with it?!" By making the best choices the majority of the time and still not depriving myself of something I really want, I've lost 23 pounds! In another 10 weeks, I could be down nearly 50 pounds! In 40 weeks, I could be down 100 pounds! Time is going to pass no matter what, so why not make that time count!
