TOM & loss/gain?

I know this will sound odd, but I rarely know when it's TOM. I have an IUD, so I don't normally see anything. But I noticed, today I got AF. So my question is what is your normal/average loss gain during that week? I was only down .6 last Monday, so I am going to assume this week is going to suck. I weighed in at WW today to check and see where I was at and I was +.4 from Monday. No biggie. Just curious sine I actually know it's TOM. :) Thanks for your insight. I know it's an odd question. :o

It's a pretty common question to see 'round these parts.

It depends. Usually for me it's a very small loss, a maintain, or a tiny gain (like .2). Like a slow-down for a week. Then back to normal.

I usually either maintain or gain a lil that week but have a good loss the next week.

Friggin TOM! he derailed me this week for sure. I was a good girl too, i ate well and only lost 0.5 last week, this week ive been eating very well and i step on my home scales all to see a gain of almost 7lbs. I couldnt beleive my eyes... How on earth is that even possible!! So i was upset when i saw the numbers, they better drop by Friday or i will be super upset. :(

Mercury-I totally feel you!!!! I know a lot of the last week has been salt/water retention. But I really want to see -2 this coming week!!!! I want my 10%! ;) But you know that you didn't eat an extra 40,000 calories to gain 7 lb!!! That's how much you'd have to eat in a week. Dam AF!

I usually gain 3 to 5lbs and even though it's water weight, it's still discouraging!

Well i have been waiting patiently for the last few days to see it come down and i am still weighing in at home around what i was. 7lbs up. Your right.. It is very discouraging!! ugh. All week ive been feeling like ive been eating wrong so ive been eating nothing but veggies cause i dont like the guilt feeling of eating something other than that.

Probably around 3-5 pounds here. It definitely can be frustrating, even knowing that. I have been inactive here for a while, but once again gained back everything I lost between Feb. & July last year, plus a couple more pounds. Was trying to update my ticker, decided to get on the scale (TOM started last night) and decided to disregard that number and go with what I was even just a few days ago. I know within a few days today's number will go down simply because of water retention.

I usually gain 3-5lbs :(
