Question about WW materials??

I am curious if I have to be a member of WW to purchase the materials, calculator, etc? According to their web site, the start up material, ( food companion, journals, point slider, binder, etc) is currently 19.95. On ebay, people are paying upwards of 40.00 for it. I work near a WW center. Can I just go in and buy bars, materials, etc? or do I need to show proof of membership??

Thanks in advance!! I did WW online last year and lost 20 pounds. I have maintained, and would now like to start up again and lose 20 more.

It really depends on the center. Most of them will let you buy the bars, cookbooks Start up kit, etc.

However none of them will let you buy the weekly materails unless you join.

So try it and see if yours will

You can go on ebay and purchase a lot of the WW materials. Just use "weight watchers" as your search item and you should find a lot of the materials up for auction.

Ebay can get very expensive....just walk into a meeting place...if they say anything about purchasing the bars or items say you are buying for a friend's birthday.......most places don't even bother you but like the one person said you can't get the weekly materials....

If they give you a hard time, do you have a friend or know a co-worker who is a member of WW to get the material for you?
