I just re started, so I really don't want to skip tracking already (today was my first day.)

I will have to figure out though, how I am going to handle it. We are at least having a family meal in the middle of the day so it won't be late.

I'll make sure to do my workout in the morning, and will just realize I will go over most likely.

Going to cook at home... Hubby and I are still newlyweds, just going to do our own thing.

I'm definately going to workout in the morning and am going to try for at least a 2000 calorie burn. Before I leave my house I'm going to have a bowl of oatmeal and blackberries. It really fills me up and I don't feel the need to keep eating.

im making bread pudding, but i wont be having any!!! on recipe builder, if you say broke it into 4 even servings (i got the impression this was a cup), its 11 points... T____T

I'm making a vanilla trifle.

Store bought strawberry angel food cake - I looked at the sugar free angel food cake but quite frankly it was almost half the size and twice as expensive. I haven't pointed out the regular one yet, but eyeballing the nutritional I'm guessing 3 or 4 points per serving.

Sugar free fat free vanilla pudding

Fresh cut strawberries

Fat free cool whip

Even at 4 or 5 points per serving, that's definitely a healthier dessert option than everything else on the table.

I'm working out this morning so I have a little more wiggle room.
I plan to track. Right now I think we're having ham, mac & cheese, and green beans and probably a bread of some sort. No dessert, really, but we do have easter candy. For the mac & cheese we are using a lean cuisine or healthy choice version and we split it so it works out to 3 or 4 points. Not bad.
I love holidays but they aren't an excuse for me to go totally off the rails anymore.

My husband and I go out for brunch with my grandma every year; this year she picked a small buffet at a little creperie/patisserie. We've been there once before for their Easter buffet; if it's anything like the last time, no leafy green salads, plain veggies, etc sort of stuff. More creamy/pasta salads, veggies like orange glazed carrots in dill butter, etc. (And a huge table of their patisserie offerings that looked absolutely picture-perfect, at least I don't have much of a sweet tooth...)

So I'm a little worried I'll have trouble figuring out the points of whatever I decide looks the most harmless. So far eating out I've relied on online nutritional info when it's available, or ordering simple things I knew I could break down the points of easily. I'll just try to do my best and not stress it too much.

I called my mom last night and asked her for the full menu and the nutritional info so that I could calculate the points and preplan as much as possible. This year I was in charge of the deviled eggs and desserts, so I can control the points of those more easily. I also plan on taking a big salad with me to make sure I get enough of my good veggies and my oil.

Happy Easter to all of you!!!

Don't beat yourself up about it! Keep in mind you get about 49 weekly points you can use on top of your daily points. Just be good the rest of the week, earn some APs, and it'll even itself out by next Saturday.

Jinksie 04-24-2011 08:11 PM

i did well. The only thing i cant calculate is the rib i ate. regular ribs (so many options on etools), and theres BBQ sauce on it, but my plate was covered in the salad :D :D :D

We went out to a Chinese restaurant, so I ordered what appeared to be the lowest calorie meal. Chicken and Vegetables.

:cofdate:

But it was loaded with salt. So I won't weigh myself for a couple of days. I am drinking a lot of water today because of all that salt.

I am over by 200 calories today. Not bad for a holiday.
I brought 1/2 the meal home for tomorrows lunch.
:hun:

I decided not to track my Easter dinner. I didn't overdo it. Before WW I would have had two or three plates of food, but I had one: turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, broccoli, carrots and a roll. Then I had one of my Mom's Easter cupcakes for dessert, and a bit of chocolate. I'm not going to sweat it, because I know I can "control" myself now, and if I do it twice a year (Christmas and Easter), that's okay. :)

I think it may be the lucky side to working 4 evenings straight over this weekend. Fri-Mon. I ate the WW chicken and cheese quesadilla. It was good. My boyfriend was over celebrating with my family for dinner tonite. Wish i could have gone, but probably all for the better. The nice thing is, mom has been cooking some really nice healthy stuff for us when we go over, since she knows i am trying to eat better. Very supportive.

Blech I didn't track today, should have, had turkey dinner with all the trimmings. I don't think I went over board but still feeling fuller than I would like.
