Don't let other people control how you feel! You can control how you feel, so don't let other people's looks or eye rolls affect you and how proud you should be of your own efforts!

Also, there are many many members who go to WW long after they reach their goals, who are 'skinny', they should be inspirations, not threats!

Ignore them- I agree with everyone you have a right to be there! :)

theres a rather tall thin lady that goes to my meeting. She doesnt look like she should be there, but she is, for the same reason as me, and when she talks about stuff, i listen. Maybe something she does, can help me look as good as her

When I go to meetings, I look for the lifetime members. They are my inspiration and support to continue toward my goal. If anyone is making you feel out of place, then the problem is with them for not understanding that we are all there for the same reason and we are all at different stages of our program. I assure you that lifetime members are my best support. Their sharing ideas, seeing that the program does work when we persevere, are valued by more people than they are looked upon as too small to be there...

True WW members know all about maintenance and how hard it is to keep the weight off, of course you need to keep attending even after goal to get inspired and be a role model!

5'7" and 135# oh yeah, baby!!!!

I thought lifetime members who are at goal are supposed to go to one meeting a month. Before I was pregnant at my meeting there were a ton of lifetime members that went every week.

Maintaining is harder than loosing...screw them.
