I hope this works...i REALLY want to be out of my 170s soon... |
I am using the Bodybugg, seeing how many calories I burn and then what I am eating. I use WW to help aid in the decisions on how to eat and what to eat.
I am burning 2800 calories when I don't work out about 3300 when I do. I eat 1800 calories on my off days and 2000 when I work out. I also seem to cycle, even though I didn't know this was a "good" thing to do. Maybe that's how I lost 1.8 last week! Since I've been CC, I've bumped my average from 1.2 to 2 lb a week. Very happy with that number! |
I just did this, since I've been slacking on PP. I like Sparkpeople since it lets me know if I'm getting enough protein and fiber, something I think I've been ignoring on PP.
I put in all my meals for today: fruit & almond butter smoothie for breakfast: 350 cals/5 P+ weird lunch of artichoke, blue potatoes, cabbage, tofu and rice. 590 cal/10P+ weird dinner of homemade veggie chili, 2 eggs, 2 oz fresh mozz & a beer: 600 cals/17 points. Total of 32 points and 1530 calories. And getting "enough" protein and fiber. As you can see my points ranges from 35 cals a piece at dinner to 70 points a piece at breakfast. average of 47 cals per point. I think the calorie counting might help. Since if I was just counting points, I'd say "well, I've only had 32, I can spend some more of my weeklies." But with counting cals also I will say "Ok, 1530 is good enough for my body today. I don't need more." I need to some psychological help to get myself back on track. So, double tracking it is! For a bit anyway. |
After reading all the posts I have decided to calorie count and do points it will be an eye opener to see how many calories I really am eating
