... and joined ww today. I'm prepared for a long, tough journey ahead as I have a lot to lose, however I have a 15 month old little girl motivating me to get healthy (and a pretty awesome husband too). I've been browsing the forum for a few days and I'm just so amazed at the level of knowledge and support from all members, so I just wanted to pop in and introduce myself and say hi :)

Taking the first step is major - now keep moving forward. Don't look at the long road ahead if that's too daunting, focus on a mini-goal (like 5% or 10% weight loss) and then celebrate when you achieve it! And then make another. :)

I have a 2yr old little girl who gives me my motivation too. You made a good choice. Welcome!

I *want* to have a little girl, so that's MY motivation too! LOL!

I turn 40 this year, with a complicated medical history, so I'd be a high risk pregnancy to start with. If I don't lose this weight first - to a reasonable level - it'll be even worse.

lol lisa i lost 40lbs and got pregnant O_O (i lost the weight alone then - no WW), im afraid it will happen again :D lol

welcome i also have a 6 month old daughter. I want her to see me making healthy choices,so she'll also be healthy
