Just starting weight watchers

I joined last year around Christmas time and didn't really have time to deticate myself. I am a south beacher and started to plateau on that diet so I am trying to loose the last 15 pounds through weight watchers and keep it off forever because I know this is a lifestyle change, not a crash diet. I have a few questions?

My points is 29 a day. No matter how careful I am, I always seem to go over. Is it healthy to cut meat out of your diet? Because for example my daily meal plan usually is:

Breakfast:6 points about
2 organic eggs with green peppers and mushrooms (no cheese) and a piece of fruit
or unsweetened silk (1 cup) and 3/4 cup of special k cereal.

Lunch: salad something packed with veggies and chicken usually and no cheese.

snack:fiber one bar

Dinner: some veggie side and a turkey burger or veggie burger, or whole wheat pasta and some spaghetti sauce with mushrooms and onion and green peppers chopped up.

....It always seems if I cut the meat out of the meal, its a smaller amount of points and then I can eat more throughout the day. I am drinking ALOT (being like 6-7 water bottles a day) and exercising at least 4 times a week doing cross fit and running. I need help! Thanks

That doesn't really look like a menu that would exceed 29 points.Plus you have your 49 weekly points and if you are exercising you would be earning activity points.

You don't have to cut out meat. The 2 meats you mentions are not big points wise. Are you meeting your good health guidelines?

Can you post a whole menu with points? I think that will help us more. I agree with fitbyforty, it doesn't look like 29 points. It's perfectly healthy to cut meat out of your diet, but it's not necessary if you're only doing it for weight loss.
