Down a size - woot!

  • The last few days my pants (size 20) have gotten really baggy to the point of being unflattering so last night I went shopping in my closet (full of clothes I haven't fit into in at least 3 years) and tried on some 18s and they fit.

I am so excited to be sitting here today in my size 18 jeans.

I am bringing all the 20s to Goodwill this weekend since I am never going back.
  • Yay! That's a great feeling isn't it! So happy for you!
  • Woo! Congrats! It's awesome huh?
  • How exciting! Congrats!
  • Good for you! And yes, get those old 20s outta there!
  • Yayy for you!! :congrats:
  • It's like the FIRST "ONE"derland! Getting the 2 off your clothes! Way to go!
  • What a wonderful feeling, congratulations to you! I work as a nurse and all of my uniforms are SO big on me now. I have to wear a tank top underneath or else i am showing my "girls" to everyone when i bend over... which is not good lol. I refuse to buy any until i lose a little more - so they last me longer (they are not cheap!)... but, they are starting to look a little ridiculous for sure!
  • Thanks everyone! I went through my closet yesterday and got rid of all my clothes that are now too big and hung my 16s and 18s in my closet to start wearing.

Then I weighed in this morning at 199 so I am super happy! I am out of the "2"s in both weight and size now.
  • Great job! Congrats on your size loss and weight loss!
  • That's awesome, Congratulations on your success so far! I cant wait to fit onto size 18 pants again. Actually I cant remember when I actually did!
  • Congratulations! It is wonderful feeling when your clothes start falling off. There are certainly worse things to complain about. I am experiencing this at the moment. Right now, I can go shopping in my own closet, but I am going to have to buy some new transitional clothes. Clothes can be expensive, so I am going to hit the sales racks and the consignment shops.
  • Congrats! How exciting for you.
