Question?

Hi,
I've done WW before and that was w/o the kits and the online website. I bout food that they sold at the stores that were labeled WW and ate the meals that were WW from Applebees. Is it possible 2 lose weight again just by purchasin food frm the stores? I lost 15 lbs the first time. I only have 20 more lbs 2 lose. I can't afford 2 get the kits or join online cuz I'm unemployed rite now. I wrkout 4-5 times a wk for about 30 mins to an hr a day. Do any of u have any info. Thanks

Ashley

Are you talking about points plus? If so, yea you'd have to pay to figure out your points. Because I'm on flex/momentum, I got most of the info off of the internet- just have to figure out your points then search for an online calculator for old plan, bookmark it so you can go back to it to figure out point value of whatever food you have. You don't have to buy WW food only, just prepare the food and eat within your points.

Sure, you can purchase the foods from the store and lose weight. It's all about calories in vs. calories out. That said, if you can find some higher volume recipes to cook, I think you'll be a lot more satisfied. It's better to get your 300 or so calories (or points, or whatever) with something fresh than something processed.

You can try the momentum plan, there are free calculators online, but the pointsplus stuff isn't available online unless you pay for it.

I really didn't go by points the last time I just did the calories cuz I found it easier. Thxs I will look into the momentum plan. I do like 2 make my only meals and have some of the processed food occasionally.
