Default Chewable calcium

which brand of chewable do you use? I used to use Viatin or something like that but I know there is another one.

please post the name of it so I can look at the ingredients to see if I want to eat this mess.

I don't 3 glasses of milk so I'd rather chew it up if I can.

If you don't want the calories, I would suggest calcium supplements (pills) instead. However, it is always best to get it from foods----and leafy greens actually have more calcium than milk! Also, many products are fortified with it, so you may not even need a supplement!

I think you were refering to Viactiv , that's what I use. I find some calcium pills too large to swallow. Can you take pills ?

This is a timely thread for me, as one thing I've noticed this past week as I've started monitoring various nutrient levels is that even though I eat quite a bit of yogurt, cheese, spinach, kale, and other dairy and veggies that have good amounts of calcium, I am still consistently under my recommended daily calcium levels, by at least 25%!

I went out this morning and bought a box of the Viactiv chewable calcium and figure that along with the natural sources from food, I will be in the mid-range for my daily recommendations. I just think of it as a daily piece of candy.

I do eat dairy sources like cheese, yogurt, milk, cottage cheese, etc but like LitChick- I wasn't meeting the RDA for calcium so I bought Caltrate vanilla creme chews. Sort of reminds me of Tootsie roll's vanilla flavor. Caltrate also has chocolate truffle and I only got this because it was cheaper than Viactiv.
