Nightime snacks that arent heav
BESIDES FRUIT! lol I want something but don't know what and I hate eating heavy at night. HELP! ideas!
|
Small bowl of cereal is my go to before bed snack. I probably eat more cereal right before I get in bed than in the morning when I get outta bed.
Carbs right before bed probably isn't the best idea, but that's what I like. |
I totally agree! Cereal is the best, Special K Red Berries is my friend!
|
I like the flavored mini rice cakes, kind of like having chips. My other nightly treat is the chocolate caramel WW bars YUM! I also eat melba toast and salsa.
|
Zucchinni. Sliced, lightly sautee, with a dab of soy sauce and sprinkle of sesame seeds.
Scrambled eggs. With whatever -- diced veggies, cheese, etc. Soup. Keeping soup on hand is very handy! A. |
I'm not in WW, so I'm not sure what all the rules are and stuff (I calorie count, so...), but for me an AWESOME night snack that keeps me from munching is popcorn and coffee or a diet soda.
I eat a huge bowl of popcorn (usually plain, but sometimes I'll put cinnamon and splenda on it or something), like 4 tbsp un-popped kernels. Then I either drink a diet soda or I make 2 cups of coffee (I drink decaf) and put in 1 packet of spenda and 1/2 cup light original soy milk. I love this treat, and it's only 175 calories for the big bowl of popcorn, and about 45 for the coffee and soy milk. So it's about 220 in total. |

The new Delights - the lemon tastes like lemon meringue pie The WW ice cream bars with the peanuts - they are like a frozen snicker bar Mini Bags of popcorn Slice of angel food cake - 1/12 th of a betty crocker is only 150 calories, not sure of points Cheese and crackers 40 cal bread with melted light mozerella and a dash of garlic salt Just a few thoughts - |
i like something dairy to snack on at night...so a string cheese, lowfat chocolat pudding, or a single serve ice cream treat, like skinny cow or a sugar free fudgecicle. on occasion, i also grab a bag of light popcorn, like the mini bags. another snack i like is a laughing cow cheese wedge (light!) spread over a few multigrain crackers.
also, fruit is good, you can put stuff on it. if you have some points left over, use better n peanut butter its 2 points per serving. or, if you feel like a splurge, use nutella :) |
I have a sweet tooth and saw this on TV once, I havent eatten any recently so I havent calculated out the points but I am sure it is under 4, I take a low fat graham cracker break it in half (like you are making smores) and take a table spoon of the sugar free low fat cool whip and make a sandwich with the two and freeze them over night. I keep a bag in the freezer full of them because they are a great snack that tastes like ice cream sandwiches!

I had whole wheat melba toast with salsa tonight. I do love string cheese but need to buy more and I am also yet to try the ww ice creams

Sugar free Jello. Chicken. Greek yogurt. Pickles. Almonds.
I'm doing calorie counting and low carb (almost no sugar) so these are some of my few options. The good thing is that it's not tempting and so I don't binge. Not fun to binge on chicken. ;) |
I like light Wasa with Laughing Cow cheese. Add thinly sliced cucumbers and some hot paprika. Mmmmm.
