Question black olives? not free??

Ok I thought these would be yummy little snacks so I grabbed my food book and they are not zero?? good thing I looked first but why are they not zero?? that makes no sense to me!! maybe we need to compile a list of veggies that aren't free because it seems to go beyond potatoes, peas, corn.. what other veggies have you found that aren't free?? (avocados are not free either which is understandable, but olives?? ok I'm hung up on the olives, lol)

Maybe because they're so salty? I hate olives, so I haven't investigated.

ok I posted this on the ww boards and was told they are not free because they are similar to avocados with their fat content (even though it's healthy fats) that is why they make olive oil out of them... so ok that makes sense, lol.. but what other veggies have ya'll found that are not free?

Olives are also fatty, granted a good fat like in avocados. This probably explains why they aren't free.

There's 2.5 g of fat in 4 of my little green pimento stuffed olives. I can have 4 for 1 point. 8 for 1 point. or 12 for 3 points . . .

I had olives tonight, and was actually pleasantly surprised that they were only 1 point. I expected more.
