New around these parts...

  • Hi! I've been a long time member on the South Beach forums, but just recently decided to try my hand at Weight Watchers.

    I've been on it for just about 3 weeks now. The first two weeks were steady losses, but this week for some reason, I've shown a gain. I'm not going to let it discourage me and am going to keep chugging along, BUT, I am going to change some things. No snacking at night. I used to save a bunch of points so that I could snack in the evening, I think that might be impeding my losses so I am going to eat steadily throughout the day and not again after dinner. That should be a tough one to break since I've been doing it ever since I can remember. I really think it will help.

    Anyway, just wanted to say hello and that I look forward to this journey with all of you!

  • Could you be coming into PMS time? I always gain a few lbs. when it's that time for me. The good news is, if that's the case, once TOM is over, those extra lbs. should fall right off.
  • Hi, zeffryn! Tomorrow is my 3rd weigh in since starting weight watchers and I too had losses the first 2 weigh-ins... I feel like I didn't lose anything this week, though. And I too have the bad habit of snacking at night. I'm still trying to get how to use my points throughout the day. I don't mean to snack at night, but at the end of the day I somehow have a bunch of points left, so I try to "catch up".
