i really hate to bother but...

Hi ladies! i really really hate to ask this question because im sure its been brought up many times. And i did try to look through old threads to see if my question would be answered there first

but anywho, im going to give ww a try, never have before, but i feel good about it. i dont have the resources to join online or a meeting in my local area, so ive been reading up to see if i can do this on my own. I used the formula i found here to figure out how many points im allowed to have (based on gender, activity level, height,) and im comming up with 28...which seems a little high. Im 5'3'', about 169, but i am very active most days. Is this right?

And also, when I work out, I work out really hard and intense (ironic as im still overweight), so should i tone it down a bit? or up my points? but i feel like im having too much already. Can you guys give me some ideas about what kind of workouts you do?

I would appreciate any advice you can give me.

When I started ww I was 5'3" and 162 lbs and I got 25 points...in 19 though and a student so my activity level was pretty much none. So 28 doesnt seem off. Try it for a week or 2 and if you are loosing weight well than stick to it! It seems correct to me!

When I started WW, I just didn't have the money. I got so good at it, I never had to attend meetings; you will be fine. I agree with the above poster. Give that a try. Also, the extra 35 points, experiment with that. I never really dipped into mine that often and lost 40 pounds in five months. I also was a devout food journal junkie. I also kept track of what I weighed every morning and in the back of my little journal, I had a go-to list of how many points certain foods were. I didn't even use a WW calculator. Just a regular one. I got the formula online, and just have used that. If you have any questions, check out my blog or personal message me. I ended up losing about 68 pounds.
