:welcome: to 3FC, and especially to the WW forum!

I think you may be referring to the old WW Exchange program which is no longer used in the centers. There are 3 methods of doing WW now. One way is by figuring how many food "points" you are allowed to consume each day. Another is one in which you don't need to count points, if you eat only off the "filling foods" list, and lastly, there is the combination of the two.

You need a minimum of 2 things:
First, you have to determine how many food points you are allowed daily. Follow this link to find that information. (The WW Powers That Be allow many websites to link it, for some reason.) http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...7230153AAQ06kr

Secondly, you need a points calculator to figure how many points are in each food item, depending on the calories, fat and fiber of it. You can get a calculator at your local meeting place, or on an auction website.

There is so much more to WW than just those 2 things, though, such as the Healthy Guidelines, etc. so I strongly advise you to attend at least one meeting. If you cannot do that, you will find the members here to be very helpful. I was unable to attend meetings in my area because I was the main caregiver of an Alzheimer's patient on the only day the meetings were offered, so I know first hand that sometimes a person just simply can't get to a meeting.

Why not hop around this forum to gather more information, and to get to know the other members? If I can help you in any way, please let me know.

The Yahoo link has now been disabled, presumably by the official Weight Watcher people.
