OLD member returning for a NEW start!!

  • Hello Ladies (and Gents) - Haven't been around for a couple of years, and surprise, surprise, I'm still battling those last 10 lbs!! Need to get back on track and what better way than 3FatChicksonadiet!!! Plan to start to check forums each day to boost my confidence and get some support from all the stories that are posted. I live in Nova Scotia and the weather is generally great so there is no excuse for not getting out there to walk, walk, walk.
  • welcome back and good luck on your last 10lbs ...the closer you get to goal seems to be the slowest and hardest (at least for me )!
  • Too funny...I'm from Nova Scotia and just started back to WW today too! LOL
  • Thanks Janee and Kristinx
Just posting a quick note and getting two replys that fast really shows that you're NOT alone in this battle. Not that I mean that I am alone, that is not true. I have a very supportive family and know the right things to do, it just the last 10lbs. have been my battle for years and I need to change in order to get past this hurdle. Take care and keep in touch.
  • Kristinx, Where in NS are you? I'm in Truro. Rainy here today, but I'm putting away the laptop and lacing up my sneaks.
  • Down on the South Shore. I used to live in Truro! I worked there for a couple years...My Mom is from there....small world...well I suppose NS isn't too big lol
  • Hello there! I am returning to 3FC and WW as well - I tried it about four years ago and had success, then moved and stopped doing it and of course, gained it all back!

I am starting my 3rd week and my weigh-in was this morning. I'm down 9.6 pounds total! Not too shabby!

And hey, although I don't live in NS now, I did for about 10 years - just outside Halifax. It is a small world (after all)!
  • Nova Scotia alumni!!!
Whether you've only lived in one place your whole life(like me) or you were here for a short stay, Nova Scotia is quite the place. I look forward to making new friends on this site, and if Nova Scotia is the conneciton, I think that's great! Just went for a a very wet, windy (but sweatin"!) walk and took my dog's leash in one hand and the umbrella in the other and I picked up the pace because I knew it was going to be a short walk, but better than no walk at all!!

Have a great Friday everyone, and I truly am glad to be back!
