I weighed in
So against my better judgement, I weight myself today.
Today is only my third day on ww, and I try to only weigh once a week, but quite honestly this diet is so different than any I have ever been on, so I was itching to see if it was working, even an ounce I lost a pound! I know, I know, I wont get in the habit of weighing myself every 3 days, but that made me feel good |
You know, how often you weigh yourself depends on how attached you get to the numbers. I weigh daily. Morning and night. My weight fluctuates about 2 lbs. between throughout the day- usually. I like to watch for trends. For example, I know that when I break through to the next number down on the scale I'll generally have to 'flirt' with that number a bit before it sticks. I learned that by weighing often.
If the number on the scale tends to discourage you then you're absolutely right to only weigh in once a week. Still- it's kind of fun to peek when it's good news. Sort of like a kid sneaking a peek at a Christmas present! I'm glad it's already working for you! |
If only I could weigh once/week!!! I'm on the scale am and pm and I do find my weight fluctuates about 2lbs during the day. Also, premenstrual - I'm usually at up at least 2lbs. I'm weighing in this am, hoping I get to change my signature line.

That's great! I think weighing in once every 3 days is fine. I weigh in maybe twice a week.

For me, once a week is plenty! I go nutso with the daily (hourly?) fluctuations that my scale displays, so why aggravate myself? I weigh in at my meeting once a week, and deal with the numbers then...

I only weigh once a week, but when I first started I weighed two or three times a week!

I weigh in a few times a week... usually if I had a really good couple of days or if I had a rough couple of days... To either encourage me or get me back on track! I always weigh the morning of my official weigh in though, just so I know what to expect at my meeting!
