12 weeks for $25???
 

A coworker of mine who does weight watchers told me today that they are running a special. 12 weeks of meetings for $25. Flat. For the entire 12 weeks. That sounds WAY too good to be true. She seems so certain that this is what the special is, but my skeptical self is trying to find proof of this. I can't find anything about it by googling - does anyone here know if they're actually running a special like this? Or a special having to do with $25 ($25 off maybe? $25/month?)

Go to the center and ask! Each WW area is run differently, so you need to go in person or phone and just ask. You'll get the info accurately that way from the center that you want to frequent.

I couldn't find anything like that, either, on the official WW site. In this economy, though, they may be desperate for members at the place your friend attends. Still, that offer sounds too good to be true. As kiramira says, the best thing to do is ask at your center. :)

She told me she saw it on a commercial, so if it's going on, it's going on at every WW center. Unfortunately I don't have cable so I can't watch for the commercial.

I suppose it is possible, like someone said, because of the economy not doing so well. I just think, though, that if that were going on I would be able to find something online about it. :/

Anyway, if it is real, you all should go for it! I know $25 would be impossible for me to resist!

I haven't heard anything about it at my center and I go every week. I'll let you know if I hear of anything!

The commercial they are running is for free registration.

my friend told me about a special here in ontario canada, 80 some odd bucks for 3 months, but i think shes thinkin of the online.... online would be fine for some but i need to join the meetings so i can stay on track and be accountable to someone other than myself lol.

I hope this is true for you! Unfortunately, when I google "weight watchers 12 week special" all that pops up is this post :shrug:

I heard the commercial on the radio. I wonder if its a USA thing (I'm in Canada) but luckily I live close, so I am going to go to WW in Michigan, buy 12 weeks and then continue to go to meetings locally.

Let us know if it's truly true.

I'm still looking every day,but nothing like that. I couldn't find a ph.# to ask either. Maybe it's just some areas,and not all?
