Kim, why do you think you didn't lose more than 3 pounds? Was it something you did, or did you follow the program? It's hard to know what to say without a little more info -- except I do know you can do this.

For what it's worth, I typically lose about three pounds in a month. I also have a lot to lose. Stick with it, and those months will add up. I've lost almost 60 pounds so far.

granto12: I understand your dissatisfaction with losing slowly. I am finally accepting (at age 40) that I am losing more slowly than ever before. Part age, part so many yo-yo diets over the years, part my "enthusiasm"(?). BUT I AM losing. Last month I was doing great for about 2 1/2 weeks, until pre-TOM and TOM arrived, then I was trying, but weak. I only lost 1/2 a pound last month.

Keep on keeping on. Don't quit. Maybe your body just needs to adjust to this new lifestyle. You may have an excellent lose next WI.

I know the feeling. Got weighed in today and gained 1 lb. Really discourageing to STAY ON PROGRAM and gain weight BUT WW is the very best program I have ever been on and I have tried many. I had 160 lbs to lose and have lost 45 of those. Long way to go but I will get there eventually. I want to get rid of this fat forever and I want it badly enought to keep on plugging away. Keep in touch with the great people on this forum. They really are a great support group. Hang in there.

Howdy all,
Slow and steady wins the race!! There's lots of reasons why one person loses differently than another.
Personally, I've had months that I've gained, then months that big chunks dropped off. Overall, 60 pounds has disappeared in the last 12 months. 5 pounds a month may not sound like much, but 60 sure does.
You can do this!!
Give us some more info and we'll be glad to analyze your life! :D
