Hi, Karen, good for you! WW is a terrific program. I too have 120 lbs to lose. I have lost 45 and am at a standstill. I am a bit discouraged BUT I know that as long as I stay on program and continue with exercise, it will come off. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns. The people at the forum have really helped me with advice and encouragement. My name is Karen, also. Let's lose this 120lbs. together!

Congratulations on taking that first big step. 6 months will pass faster than you can imagine and you'll be so glad to joined.

I'm down 79.5 and feel great. I know you'll be enjoying this same felling shortly. Have fun with the program and when you monitor the points the pounds will take care of themselves.

Have a great OP day!
Brenda

Karen73: It's good to have you here. Starting WW or anywhere takes some courage, because I feel it takes courage to change. I hope the road ahead is a smooth one for you.

Hi Karen73,

Congratulations on making the best decision of your life :) That's how I feel about my decision to join anyway. The lady is right, you'll never have to see that weight again. Stay OP and never give up. You can do it. It's great that you are online looking around for support too. There are a lot of us out here to share with. I have lost 111.8 pounds and my girlfriend has lost 147.8, so don't feel alone it what you have to do. We are still losing. One thing.. don't "think" you can do it, KNOW YOU CAN DO IT! If you'd like to see someone that is going through the same thing, check out our web page. We started Weight Watchers April 20, 2000. Our web page is http://www.dontweightaround.com
Believe me, if we can do it, anyone can. We have been overweight most all of our lives.

Hi Karen: I started out to invite you to come by and have a cup of coffee with us at the "Countdown to 250" thread. I see you've already met some of my friends.

But after I started out I got side tracked with Brian and Katerina's website and spent nearly an hour there. What a wonderful, inspiring story.

Anyway, if you'd like to join us please do and be sure to visit the website.

Karen,

Congratulations! Just think, you'll never have to see that number on the scales again! I've lost 72/140 pounds on WW, and the most encouraging thing is that I can see myself eating the way I am now for the rest of my life, and being happy with it. Have a great week!

Annie
