Hi everyone!

I have a friend of mine who is the local WW leader here in my town, a really wonderful lady. Well, a couple of months ago she participated in the Relay For Life charity event with other WW members. I was actually at the event performing, and they had a big raffle at the charity. The WW group made up a basket to put in the raffle, and I ended up winning it. :)

It was full of WW materials-a dvd, Points calculator, pedometer, Fruities, snacks, and other WW materials.

Now, I have been a calorie counter for years and have been successful with it, BUT-my friend, the WW leader, has finally talked me into giving her meetings a shot. I decided to go for it-if only to have the accountability of the public weigh in each week, and to spend more time with my friend. :)

So, I am going to be doing WW for a while. :)

I have to say, I AM liking the Activity Points thing...especially since I am very active!

 Welcome aphil! The meetings are a wonderful tool, and though they can be focused on program information, they are also a great place to find support and accountability, like you said. I hope you enjoy the experience!

And woohoo for the basket of goodies! How cool!
