Lifetime/Maintenance Weigh In Question...

Hello there. I'm hoping someone can help me with this question. I have not yet reached the lifetime status, but I'm trying to understand a bit more how it works before I do get there so I can be fully prepared for the changes.

I have heard that once on Maintenance you only have to weigh in once a month - is that a maximum, or if you want to continue to weigh in every week are you allowed to do that? I really, really like having that extra bit of accountability each week and don't know if I'd do so well if I was left basically to my own devices for 3 of 4 weeks a month. I know I could still go to the meeting each week, but I want to know if I'd be able to weigh in as well.

Thanks

Christine

Hi Christine!

Lifetime members only need to weigh in once a month. I attend weekly meetings and weigh in each time as this is something that keeps me on track and it also helps me to monitor my weight. I would be the same way, if I were left to my own devices for 3 of the 4 weeks I would shudder to think where I'd be.

From what I understand most centers will let Lifetime members weigh in weekly. However, there are some centers that do not. I would suggest that you talk to the receptionist/leader at your center and find out what their policy is.

Continued success on your journey!
