Alli only blocks about a third of all fats. That why its all about getting the balance right and eating 30% of calories from fat.

This post isn't to change your mind about anything, but to pass along some information you may not already have. :)

Alli not only blocks fats, but it blocks all the good nutrients that your body needs, too. That's why the company that makes Alli advises you to take a multivitamin each night, when the Alli is out of your system.

To get the same benefit as taking Alli, simply limit your meals to 15 grams(or less) of fat. To lose, you still need to limit your food intake, with or without Alli.

I have never tried Alli or thought about it, I have IBS :D Just remember that fats are essential, and it is just not fat that makes you gain weight. Anything, carbs..protein can be stored as fat in your body. I hope it works for you, just remember to take a vitamin ;) goodluck!

It's not just the Omega 3's. You body needs fat to absorb the vitamins in your food. Can you take Alli for the rest of your life or at some point do you have to do without it?
