Hello 3FC WW boards

  • Please for the love of God tell me this place is more friendly than the WW boards are?

    I want support not a bunch of snarky people with god complexes please.

    I went to my first meeting today and can't wait to get started. I have been lurking 3fc for a while from when I was low carb but I think WW will be a better fit for me

    I have found so much support from the ladies here.
    Will you be doing flex or Core? I have done flex but now am trying Core and I find it a little more difficult for me right now. I am sure I will figure it out with minimal weight gain....have a great night.

  • Hello and welcome! I had a similar experience on the WW boards and stopped going there. I went back a couple weeks ago to lurk for a little bit and saw that things haven't changed. Nothing motivating over there! I'm sure you'll find friends and advice here, good luck on your journey!
  • OMgawd I totally agree!! I can't believe that WW allows that behavior on those boards. What a shame. There is a group of posters who should be banned immeadiately. I belong to a lot of boards/forums and I have witnessed some snippyness here and there but nothing prepared me for the WW boards. I have been here before when I was doing LAWL and knew this was a much friendlier and supportive enviroment so I'm baaaack!!!

    BTW, I'm doing Flex and going to meetings.

    3FC is definitely the friendliest site I've ever found. Every other msg board I've been on has been full of judgmental, hateful people. I think the moderation here is spot-on, the mods do a great job of stopping conflict when it arises (if it does!).

    And Cindy, I did a search to only the WW forums on 3FC and just searched for boards, hitting the show posts button. It brought any time someone said boards on here and from the couple pages I read the other day I wasn't alone which was a huge relief.

    Sorry to take so long to get back to you all had a lovely day at the hospital with my grandmother, but all is okay and she will be hopefully out soon.

    Btw, I started meetings for the first time (LOVE THEM) and am currently doing flex, although with todays events I think I might have blown through all of my weekly points

    Although, all things considered I generally have a hard time eating my points any other day so I think I will be okay

  • Hi gracie453! So glad you found 3FC! I should have come straight here from the get go but figured since I was a paying WW customer I would take advantage of the site. What a mistake. I still can't believe WW allows that behavior. So glad I'm here, too!

  • Welcome, Gracie. There's a flex board, if you haven't been there already. Hope things continue to get better for your grandmother. I try to just get back on program on my next meal when I fall off (happens pretty often, so I'm kind of a pro at it ) They will tell you at your meetings, not to wait 'til the next day, start at your next meal.

    We're in it for the long haul, so we have to learn to deal with these slipups as well as eating healthier regularly.
