I think I need a new brain

Well, it's 10 in the morning and I've already used 21 out of 30 points :dizzy:

I've been doing WW for a year and a half, and you'd think I'd have the plan down, right? I had a dr.'s appointment, had to have blood drawn so no eating. Afterward, all I wanted was a starbucks iced something. Now, there are plenty of starbucks that are less than 5 points. However, I manage to order an iced cafe white chocolate mocha (I know the chocolate should have given it away) that is a whopping 11 points!! (and that's without whipped cream)

It's just funny when you think you know something and find out you are completely off! :o

i hope all is ok. dont worry about the points just move on:)

princess_peach 07-18-2007 08:34 PM

Thanks andrea, everything is fine. I plan to move on, but man, all I want to do this week is EAT--nothing seems to fill me up, I must be compensating for something

andreaphilip3 07-18-2007 11:12 PM

You're not alone!

I had a really bad day yesterday, after my weigh-in, no less. I made a huge dent in my flex points! I'm back on track pretty well today, but am gonna have to get in an awful lot of walking for the rest of the week!

That's the thing, it's the week after TOM so I wasn't really expecting this behavior!

That's the other thing, I need to get back to exercising--I've taken a little break and I'm feeling it

andreaphilip3 07-19-2007 12:00 PM

you guys can both do it!! look ahead to the aug challenge....

CHS_teacher 07-19-2007 10:32 PM

Better..

My scale looked a bit better this morning. I just got to thinking about how much I ate on Tuesday. Before I joined Weight Watchers, that was just a normal day! I'm just glad that days like that happen very infrequently!!

yea, I hear ya!!!! :dizzy: I guess you just have to try & get right back on the horse.. so to speak

princess_peach 07-20-2007 11:01 AM

Hey Susan- I know what you mean about "normal" days. Now, when I have a "bad" day, I have to remember those were what all my days were because that will really help me focus on how much better I am now!

butcherbabe 07-20-2007 02:04 PM

Peach, you've brought up a great point! I thought the same thing this week. It's the week after TOM. Why am I eating like a truck driver? And when I'm not, I'm thinking about what I'm going to eat next. Lingering hormones?

CHS_teacher 07-21-2007 11:04 AM

Yes, Peach...

Exactly, Peach. Instead of obsessing over one bad day, we need to congratulate ourselves for having made a lifestyle change! And not only for ourselves, but for our families, too.

When I walk through a mall food court, I almost cringe when I see people eating huge plates of junk food. In my former life, I probably would have been right there with them!
