Holy Moly, I blew it at lunch today!

  • YIKES!!! Mom wanted to go to O'Charley's again today. Instead of sticking to one of my normal choices I branched out a bit and had the orange chicken. It was a very small serving, and I didn't eat it all, but was I ever shocked when I got home and looked it up on calorieking!!!! The portion I did eat came to 26 points!!! Even after 10 months you can still screw up.....but I'll know next time and stick to one of my regular choices!!! Thank heavens I've got till next Saturday to weigh in again!

  • Don't you hate that??? It is so frustrating when we try to use the things we have learned from WW, and then these darn restaurants go and mess with us!!!

  • I honestly don't think it was a screw up. So? tomorrow is a new day and you get back on that bus! You probably learned something (a good thing) and you enjoyed yourself (another good thing) AND you counted everything (a FANTASTIC thing!).
  • I understand. I had chicken wings at my mother's only to finally figure out that I ate 30 pts worth of chicken wings. I just had to lauph because I know I should look things up and weigh and measure etc. that's just me but I didn't I threw caution to the wind and the wings won. LOL

    We all slip up or say "whatever I don't care" but as long as you get back in the game you've done alright.
  • I'm trying to work up a little sympathy, but I'm too busy being envious that you had something other than "and broccoli" at a chinese restaurant. Yes, that's drool coming out of my mouth at the thought of orange chicken...mmmmm. In all honesty, I'm with the others, I hope you enjoyed your orange chicken, and tommorrow is another day.
