Weight Watchers going public
 

Weight Watcher's has gone public! I hope that this event doesn't drastically change the WW philosophy. The tendency for corporations is to be concerned with the bottom line. :?: I hope that negative changes like a contract to attend doesn't happen. I am worried that the almighty buck may cause weight watchers to change so negatively that we may not want to stay.

I saw that WW offered an IPO this week and it was very successful. I'm going to go optimistic and hope that WW realizes that if it changes too much the public that needs its services will stop attending and purchasing products, so it won't make sense to make their bottom line revisions there.
Going public will give WW much more money to work with, so let's cross our fingers and hope for something good.:dizzy:

Do you really think WW is going to tamper with success...they've been in business over 30 years and going public is not going to make a huge change in how they do business...they have been making a good profit for many years.

I bought 100 shares...gone up over $400 in value already.
