Wendie/WW Plan

  • Hello,

I was reading the Wendie plan about varying your points. I can't afford to go to meetings and used the WW Flex points system a few years ago to lose 25 pounds and would like to use it again. I have all my old info but a friend of mine said the system is totally changed.

According to my info I should be eating, 28 points a day. The friend of mine said she is allowed 26 points, and she weighs a whole lot less than I do.

I know that info specific to WW can't be posted here but can poster request that other posters email them? I don't want anyone to get upset.

I was also reading the Wendie plan info and found that interesting as well but wasn't entirely clear on how that works. The list for an average of 28 points actually averaged out to 31 which is a few points higher.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Dawn
  • The only thing that has really changed is the way the daily points are calculated they are much more personalized. The way daily points are now based are:

    1) gender
    2) age
    3) weight
    4) height
    5) daily physical activity not counting exercise

Wendi's plan is nothing different really than FlexPlans utilizing all your points. She just came up with the Flex Point concept before W/W officially introduced it. The only major thing is she ASSIGNED days of the week to eat low points, high points and a super high day.

If you e-mail me at [email protected] I'd be happy to explain in a bit more detail to you on the daily points.
