Default "Goal" Question

Hi everyone. My name is Tracy. I am 29 years old. I was a member of WW about 3 years ago... I was able to lose 20 pounds fairly quickly and became a lifetime member. Of course, I let it all go and 3 years later found myself more than 20 pounds heavier than I was at my lightest

So I re-joined in January and have since gone from 154 to 137!! I told them my goal is 135... so I am very close (.8 above, by their scale) and soon (hopefully soon!) I won't have to pay!

But I really want to be around 125... Does anyone else do this? Pick a goal but then go under it? My WW leader said 125 for me is fine. I really hope to get there, but being at "goal" technically will feelso good too!!!

Am I even making sense??

125 is an appropriate goal for you. Makes perfect sense to me.

Oh yes. Lots of us adjust our goals as we go. I thought 130 was a reasonable goal for someone my age But I'm not that happy there. So I'd rather go enough under that I never hover over that.
BTW ... some folks have an acceptable range or a top line weight

Most definitely! A lot of Lifetime members have a "personal" goal which is lower than the "official" WW goal. Congratulations on your success!!!

Just one bit of advice that I learned from my meetings--continue to attend meetings for as long as it took you to lose the weight--it really does help and it keeps you accountable. I reached my goal in 1999 and have continued to attend weekly meetings. This works for me and I'm happy to report that I've never had to pay for being over my goal weight. There are some LT members who find that they can just weigh in once a month so do what works best for you.
