It's been a zoo here at work the past week and I'm so ready to get out of here. I'm leaving tonight for the Windy City for a meeting on Saturday and then flying back early Sunday. Thankfully I'm on vacation next week :D

Eating wise I'm not having too much trouble because of the stress, I'm not hungry and my stomach has been revolting the food. I guess that's good in one way. I did manage to eat some soup at noon but couldn't finish the salad :(

Anyway, I'll be checking in next week from home...can't stay away from the computer. Have a great weekend everyone!

Hey there guys. It's been a rough week. My dad had a stroke - fortunately it's turned out to be somewhat mild he's appears to have both mental, verbal, and motor skills at 90% - but it was and still is uncertain as to what his future health will be like. Sometimes the "cure" is just as lethal as the disease. I've been in Florida helping out, and hopefully he'll be coming out of the hospital tomorrow. Both parents are 76 - still fairly young but life has taken its toll.

Trying to stay somewhat sane regarding eating... and actually I've really had no desire to drink at all. Parents have a scale but until I started writing this I had "forgotten".

Lala - Martha Stewart and nuthin' on you babe! 17 people??? whoa.

Melissa - congrats on the weight loss. just great.

And to all you guys, sorry for the above... I guess I was just feeling a bit blue. Hard to see one's parents getting frail.
