how much weight loss?

Hi everyone! I started on the Atkins diet for almost 3 days and I couldn't take it anymore!! I have lost weight on WW before and am very familiar with it, so I'll try again. My question is this~I weight around 212-215 and am thinking about getting pregnant again, but I want to be down around 190 first. Does anyone have an inspiring story about how quickly they lost some weight? Success stories really help motivate me! Thanks for your help, and keep up the good work!

W/W is not a quick weight loss program. The average weight loss after the first 1-3 weeks where you tend to have higher losses due to water being removed that has been retained is .5-2 pounds a week. Additionally the close you are to your goal weight the harder the weight usually is to take of.

Most people average 1 pound a week. Also since weight loss isn't an exact science there may be weeks where you are on program but show no loss or even gains.

I agree with what Kelly said..WW is not a quick fix..But that being said I think it is the best weight loss program out there. There has been many weeks OP that I haven't loss and most weeks I don't lose more than .5-1 lb... I don't know how normal I am as far as the program goes but if you want any sorta refrence...It has taken me 1 year already to lose 43 lbs. But the way I see it is that I didn't put all the extra weight on overnight and it isn't going to come off overnight..Its a marathon not a sprint..lol. :-)

good luck :) I am hoping to be at my goal weight by the time I get pregnant again (being single there is a good chance that'll happen too!)..

My leader lost 40kg in 48 weeks... if that helps at all (I think 2.2lb=1kg)
