Need A Good Scale!!

I have a digital scale that I paid around $40 for and it is terrible. I can stand on it and weigh one thing and then immediately get back on and it be 1-2 pounds different. Does anyone else have this problem? Any ideas on a really good scale to invest in? Any help would be greatly appreciated. ;)

I use a WW scale that I got at Costco for about $20. It's seems pretty accurate. I've never had it change more that 0.2 lbs. on consecutive weighs.

Scales are made of pulleys and springs. When you step on and of without letting these return to their normal resting state you can cause false readings. You should get on ONE TIME only when you weigh.

Test to see how accurate your scale is by taking something you know the weight of (5 or 10 pound hand weight) and seeing what it registers. Do this only one time after no one has been on it for a while. This will tell you if it is accurate.

Thank you for all your help and suggestions. I am going to go home tonight and put a weight on the scale to test it out :woohoo:
