Default New girl in town

Well this is my 8th day on WW and I have lost 3lbs so far. My biggest problem so far is my morning afternoon and evening coffee I cant do sweet and low and most of my points are eatin up with sugar. I am trying to cut back to 2 cups in the morning but am haveing trouble. I tried tea but it isnt the same. And this mean sweet tooth keeps rearing its ugly head at night so I drink water to fill me up and dont ya know Im gettin up 3x a night to pee
Other then this it has been great. I havent lost or gained any weight in 8 monthes since my last baby. So 3lbs lost was a big deal to me and makes me want to do better.
This is my first time on any diet actually since we had a plan to have 3 kids I just stayed fat (why lose weight to get pregnant) unfortunatly my kids didnt weigh in at the 20 lbs I hoped for
I am just using the ETools for now and wont be doing any meetings until I get back to work so I figured I could put all my problems, concerns and progress here.

I havent tried splenda yet but plan on picking it up on my next grocerie trip. I looked at Core but I need more flexability to make it work for me.

splenda rocks!

i respect ppl that need flex, honest i do but i can i ask you a question? i have to admit, that it always puzzles me that ppl say that b/c the truth is we core ppl get the same 35 you guys do but we just dont have to count points for anything else so i never seem to comprehend that kind of thing...oh well. good luck!

Hi Jenneek.

Welcome, I see you've met Andrea (Hi Andrea!!). Continue success with WW or whatever you choose. As Andrea said, give Splenda a try. I can't stand any of the others, but Splenda is great. I don't buy any flavoured yogourt anymore just plain non-fat and add a Splenda and sometimes some pure vanilla, frozen fruit and tbs of low fat granola....bliss!!!!

I think we are all relatively new around here and if you check out the thread Keeping It a Secret...that's where we've met.

So come visit, join in, vent, complain, laugh, let it out....all ears....lots of ears and we're good at keeping secrets lololol.

Take care and be good to yourself.

Ok yes Splenda ROCKS thanks!!
I kind of just did a quick peek at the core plan but what I gathered was I would have to eat about 5-6 times a day wholesome foods which would require seperate groceries and a schedule...neither would work for me with 3 kids. I have more control with the flex plan and can still make my big dinners or grab a slimfast on the nights there is practice or a school function.

Why would that require seperate groceries? Whole wheat breads, pastas, lean meats, fruit, veggies, etc, work fine
