How would YOU do this ???

  • Hey yall... today has been a busy on-the-go day for me, haven't had one in a long while and now I'm paying for it. lol

    For breakfast, I kinda skipped out, and went straight to lunch around noon/1pm time and had a salad with grilled chicken which equaled 9pts. Now here comes my question... I havne't ate anything since then but hubby wanted food from the homestyle diner we have in town and I budged for dinner!! I feel SO bad now.. but not to bad since I know I haven't hardly had anything and I DO have some flex points (all of them).

    Anyways.. how do I count this ?? What I had was a cheeseburger sub with everything (mayo, tomatoe, fried onions, cheese and lettuce), and an order of home fries (basically fries but in little round flat thingies lol). Not the best chioce I know, but it was what I wanted. Now, do I just call it a day on my points and maybe assume it was 19 points (probably over tho), and not count my flex points, or use some of my flex points plus my daily limit today ?? How would YOU do this ????
  • What I had was a cheeseburger sub with everything (mayo, tomatoe, fried onions, cheese and lettuce) for this I'd count 5 or 6 for the bun if it was a 10-12" roll, 2 or 3 for the mayo, 1 or 2 for the frined onions and 4 or 5 for the cheese. Now for the burger part I'd say it was probably 5 to 7 ounces so I'd count probably 10-14 depending on how much meat I thought it had.

    For the home fries I'd count probably 10 for about 5 ounces or a normal serving size.

    It probably means you'll have to use some of your flex points. But that is how I'd count it without seeing how much was on the sub and how big of an order the home fries were.

    Sorry Im so ditzy... but this means all my daily points are used up and some flex right ?? Just want to make sure that I'm doing it right.
  • Well I don't know what your daily points are and how many you already used so I can't answer that but I would say yes.

    My daily points are 28 and I used 9pts with the salad before the dinner I splurged on!
