Mel -- I hear ya on the scale not moving in a year... It's been about the same for me... I'm still not doing back flips yet over the 2# because I see this same 2# sooooo freakin' often... now if I see ANOTHER 2# in the next couple of weeks...welllll I MAY be on a roll back flippin'....
JEC -- When I was in the process of conceiving, Spinal Bifida was a concern because hubby had a brother born with this, he only lasted a couple of months... I read up on it and it seems that it is cause by a lack of vitamins... and I can see that happening in the older days because they did not eat as many veggies as we do today... I did also take a Folic Acid Multi Vit. that the ob/gyn gave all the women... and because of all the iron in it, it did not matter an IOTA how much fiber I ate or fruits and veggies, I pooped pellets like a rabbit...
...for 9 months... OMG I think of that now and it's a hoot but well when I was pregnant it was NOOOO laughing matter... Funny how our percieption of thinking changes over time...
Anyways... pretty silly topic isn't it? As for doing stuff and not... I weight trained right till the 2 weeks before having the first one, then the nesting phase kicked in and I washed walls instead of weights...
The doc had said continue what you are doing, don't start new exercise stuff, and be careful not to drop the weights ON you...for the second I stopped quite a bit earlier because D was born in September and it was an extremely HOT HOT August and I could not move, literally I sat at 200lbs in bra and undies... quite the sight lemme tell ya...we had NO pool at the time either... Now all this may be too much information for some... but it's the truth!!!
I'm positive most of us who have had babies have some funny prego stories...
Tiki -- I'm in with the clean eats for 7 days... altho I just had a call from a g/f who is in town for a few days and we are going ou Friday night and that may be my free meal with some vino of course... but not alot because I will be driving....
I think it's such a great idea with the 7 day clean eats challenge that I will start a thread, not necessarily to post our menu, but if you want by all means please do, but for me to TELL what I have NOT done right....
Ok gotta go do some fitday calorie counting...
